AppDeploy vs Applivery | Applivery Alternative for Enterprise App Distribution
Applivery's App Distribution plans cap apps, monthly downloads and authenticated users per tier (€490–€5,990/year). AppDeploy is £599/year with unlimited apps, users and installs. Current pricing, compared honestly.
Two products that overlap on one job
Applivery is an API-first platform with two halves: a multi-OS device-management product (Android, Apple, Windows) and an App Distribution product — an enterprise app store for unmanaged devices. The App Distribution half is the direct AppDeploy competitor.
AppDeploy is Apple Business-centred: a branded portal for private iOS delivery (Android via Enterprise), with optional silent AutoDeploy on enrolled Apple devices, per-install audit trails, and compliance evidence built in.
The pricing model is the real difference
Applivery App Distribution is tiered per organisation with hard caps (pricing checked 28 August 2026): Starter €490/year allows 3 apps and 300 downloads a month; Essentials €990/year allows 5 apps, 1,000 downloads and 50 authenticated users; Startup €2,990/year allows 15 apps and 150 users; Business €5,990/year allows 30 apps, 3,000 downloads and 300 users — and a custom domain only arrives at that €5,990 tier. SSO is Enterprise-only.
AppDeploy Business is £599/year (or £79/month) with unlimited apps, unlimited portal users, unlimited installs, and the custom domain included. There is no download meter to watch. To reach 300 authenticated users on a custom domain, the Applivery bill is roughly ten times the AppDeploy one.
Audit, compliance and Apple depth
AppDeploy carries the operational layer regulated UK buyers ask about: append-only audit logs with CSV export, compliance snapshots with honest three-state results, Evidence Packs mapped to Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001 controls, a GDPR data processing agreement that applies to every customer by default, and UK data residency.
On the Apple side, AppDeploy goes deeper than an app store: Apple Business Manager Apps & Books sync, Managed Apple ID workflows, zero-touch (ADE) enrolment, rollout rings with auto-pause and one-click rollback.
Where Applivery is the better choice
If your primary use case is beta and test-build distribution wired into CI/CD — Fastlane, Bitrise, Jenkins, GitHub Actions pushing every build to testers with retention windows — Applivery's App Distribution is built around exactly that workflow, and it is good at it.
If you need one vendor to manage Windows and Android hardware alongside Apple, Applivery's UEM side covers ground AppDeploy deliberately does not. Choose AppDeploy when the job is production distribution of private apps to employees, with audit evidence and predictable flat pricing.
