What counts as a device?
Each iPhone, iPad or Mac that you enrol and manage in AppDeploy counts as one device, and a Mac counts the same as an iPhone or iPad. The AppDeploy plan charges for each device beyond the free 5.
What does Free include?
Up to 5 managed devices with the device basics: enrolment, installing apps from the admin screen (including Apple Business apps), Web Clips for iPhones and iPads, security settings, OS updates, and lock and erase on eligible devices. It includes 10 apps and 5 teammates, with self-serve help. The branded app store and release controls come with Distribution.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
Your workspace stays open and moves to Free. The trial needs no card, so nothing is charged. After that, add devices beyond the free 5 on the AppDeploy plan, and add your own app store with Distribution.
Can I pay yearly?
Yes. On the AppDeploy plan, each device beyond the free 5 is £10 a year instead of £1 a month. Distribution is £219 a year or £29 a month. Enterprise is billed by agreement, including by invoice or purchase order.
Do I need AppDeploy, Distribution or both?
They are separate, and you can have either or both. AppDeploy is for devices: the first 5 are free, then £1 per device a month or £10 a year, and it installs your apps on them, including Apple Business apps, and sends Web Clips to iPhones and iPads. Distribution is your own branded app store and release controls: £29 a month or £219 a year, the same with or without devices. With both, they are billed together on one subscription, monthly or yearly.
Do prices include tax?
No. Prices are in GBP and exclude VAT, GST and other sales taxes. Where those taxes apply, they are added at checkout.
