How AppDeploy is different
Enterprise mobility has traditionally forced two bad choices: pay for a heavyweight MDM you don't need, or hack together install scripts. AppDeploy takes a third path — an intentionally narrow, silently powerful product built on six design principles.
App installs on the iPhones and iPads you manage, without the MDM baggage
AutoDeploy delivers the MDM capability most organisations actually need — installing your apps on the iPhones and iPads you manage — without inheriting the compliance surface, patch cadence, and consultant tax of a full-fat MDM. Apps install on enrolled devices; the person may be asked to accept.
Per-workspace Apple push certificates
Each workspace that uses device management has its own Apple push certificate; there is no shared platform certificate. The certificate and its private key are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. If one certificate is ever compromised, it affects that workspace only, not every workspace on the platform.
Workspace isolation on every signed-in request
The server takes each user's workspace from their signed-in session. Queries on customer data are filtered to that workspace, changes re-check that the record belongs to it, and roles and permissions are checked before any protected action.
Enterprise .ipa delivery to enrolled devices
In-house apps install on enrolled company devices. Each enterprise-signed .ipa is delivered with a per-device signed manifest URL and short-lived asset links: a proper enterprise distribution path that stands up to procurement review.
Multi-language from day one
The main public pages are available in English, French, German and Spanish. The employee portal, the Trust Centre, legal documents, the detailed guides and some plan details are in English today.
Transparent pricing, honest gaps
One public price list: up to 5 devices free, then one price per device, and Distribution for your own branded app store, with or without devices. A public list of what we don’t do (Android device management, a patch catalogue, a full policy library), so procurement sees it up front.
Why AppDeploy exists
Apple Business is excellent at what it does: app ownership, licence pools, and App Store delivery. What it does not try to be is the day-to-day operational layer: a branded portal employees can recognise, a record of app requests (and install status on managed devices) the IT team can review, and clearer error states.
Mid-market IT teams and app agencies repeatedly ended up scripting that operational layer themselves, or adopting a full MDM tool for one workflow. AppDeploy is the focused alternative: Apple Business stays underneath, while AppDeploy adds the parts that make the experience clear for employees.
