Your business apps. Your company devices. One workspace.

Building a business app is only part of the job. Teams must get the right version to the right people, prepare the devices that run it and understand what happened after release.

AppDeploy brings private app distribution, Apple device management and release oversight together: a branded app destination for staff, device administration for IT, and release checks and records for app teams.

The app is built. The rollout still needs work.

When app delivery and device operations sit in separate processes, the gaps become support work.

The problemThe AppDeploy approachThe practical benefit
Scattered app accessA branded place for staff to find approved company apps, with assignments by group.A clearer starting point for staff and fewer repeated installation instructions.
Manual device preparationEnrol company Apple devices, apply settings and keep inventory and updates in view.App delivery and device setup share the same operational context.
Unclear release outcomesCheck builds before release, inspect installation status and keep release records.App owners and IT can investigate blockers from a shared view.

One connected workflow.

Follow the app from preparation to the device-reported outcome.

  • Prepare the app: Choose the eligible Apple distribution route and the release to deliver.
  • Check the build: Release Guard checks identity, version, signature and supported OS versions.
  • Assign by group: Choose the enrolled company devices that need the app.
  • Install on devices: Inspect installation status, including pending actions or offline devices.
  • Review the outcome: Investigate deployment blockers and retain release records.

Different industries. A common delivery problem.

Illustrative scenarios for staff apps and company devices. These are examples, not customer references.

IndustryA practical use case
Banking & financial servicesA branch or relationship-management team needs an internal app on company iPads. Connect staff app discovery, group assignment, device settings and installation status in one workspace.
Field operations & logisticsGive engineers and site teams a consistent route to job apps, company-device setup and support when an installation remains pending.
Retail & hospitalityOrganise company iPads by store or venue and keep staff aligned on the apps assigned to their team.
Healthcare operationsDistribute staff scheduling, training or facilities apps alongside administration of the company devices that run them.
Agencies & service providersHelp each client establish its own branded app destination, Apple account and an agreed device-management scope.

Start small. Make the outcome visible.

A suggested pilot: one internal app, one staff team and 5-10 company devices. Agree the scope before enrolment or changes to an existing fleet.

  • Define the business workflow, app owner and device owner.
  • Confirm the Apple distribution route, device eligibility and security review requirements.
  • Run a real release and inspect installation results and unresolved blockers.
  • Review onboarding effort and the operational handover before deciding on a wider rollout.

A defined deployment scope.

Private iPhone and iPad apps install on enrolled company devices through an eligible Apple distribution route. Installation may require user acceptance.

Mac management supports macOS 14 or later; controls depend on OS version and supervision.

Release controls operate on devices managed with AppDeploy. Availability depends on plan, platform and prerequisites.

AppDeploy is hosted in Glasgow, UK. Banking and healthcare deployments require the organisation's own security, data and procurement review. Operational records do not establish regulatory compliance.
